About SomniumAI
SomniumAI is a private, local-first dream journal launching first on Android, with iOS planned. It is designed for the quiet moment after waking up: open the app, write your dream before it fades, and come back later to explore optional AI-guided reflections.
The core principle is simple: your dreams belong to you. The journal works offline, requires no account to start writing, and AI features are always opt-in — never automatic.
Our Approach
- Privacy by design — dreams are stored locally on your device first. Raw dream text is never used for analytics or advertising.
- Local-first — the journal works without an internet connection. AI reflections run in the cloud only when you explicitly choose a guide.
- AI as a tool, not the product — SomniumAI is a dream journal that happens to offer AI reflections. It is not an AI product that happens to mention dreams.
- Honest limits — we do not make medical, therapeutic, predictive, or financial claims. AI reflections are for self-reflection, culture, and entertainment.
The App
SomniumAI lets you write and search your personal dream archive, tag moods and symbols, and optionally explore structured reflections through a selection of AI guides — from a simple one-credit interpretation to a deeper multi-angle analysis. Credits keep the experience transparent and sustainable.
The Company
SomniumAI is developed by Sikelia Labs, an independent software studio based in Catania, Sicily, Italy. Sikelia Labs designs and builds mobile applications, APIs, and web platforms with a focus on quality, performance, and user privacy.
